The client required a reliable commercial solar drying solution to process mango, guava, banana, papaya, and other seasonal fruits throughout the year. Their traditional drying process resulted in uneven moisture removal, contamination from dust and insects, dependency on favorable weather, and considerable product losses during the monsoon season. They wanted a hygienic, energy-efficient, and large-capacity drying solution that could improve product quality, reduce drying time, and increase production efficiency while minimizing operating costs.

What we did:
Rudra Solar Energy carried out a detailed site assessment before designing, manufacturing, supplying, and commissioning a customized commercial solar drying system tailored to the client's processing requirements. The complete solution featured a food-grade aluminium drying chamber, optimized airflow management, uniform heat distribution, and efficient moisture removal for consistent drying performance. The project also included installation, testing, operator training, and post-installation technical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maximum productivity throughout the year.
