Project Description

Karnataka is one of India's leading agricultural and horticultural states, producing a wide range of fruits, vegetables, spices, medicinal plants, flowers, coffee, areca nut, coconut, turmeric, chilli, and food processing products. However, many farmers, food processing industries, FPOs, SHGs, MSMEs, and agri-based businesses continue to face significant post-harvest losses due to traditional open sun drying methods. To address these challenges, Rudra Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. successfully implemented a Commercial Solar Drying Project in Karnataka by providing an advanced Commercial Solar Dryer designed for hygienic, energy-efficient, and high-quality food processing. The enclosed drying system protects agricultural produce from dust, insects, birds, rainfall, and environmental contamination while preserving natural colour, aroma, texture, flavour, and nutritional value. With more than 20 years of expertise in manufacturing Commercial Solar Dryers and renewable energy-based food processing solutions, Rudra Solar Energy continues to help farmers and food processing businesses improve productivity, reduce drying time, minimize post-harvest losses, and increase value addition. This project demonstrates how solar drying technology supports sustainable agriculture, premium-quality food processing, and long-term business growth across Karnataka.
