Project Description

Maharashtra is one of India's largest agricultural and food processing states, contributing significantly to the country's agri-based economy. To support farmers, food processing industries, MSMEs, FPOs, SHGs, agro-based enterprises and rural entrepreneurs with modern post-harvest management, Rudra Solar Energy successfully completed a Commercial Solar Drying Project in Maharashtra. The project was designed to provide a hygienic, energy-efficient and weather-independent drying solution that helps reduce post-harvest losses, improve product quality and increase operational efficiency. By implementing advanced Commercial Solar Dryer technology, the client was able to achieve faster drying, lower operating costs, better hygiene standards and improved product shelf life while promoting sustainable food processing through renewable solar energy. The project also helped strengthen value addition, improve processing capacity and create a more reliable drying system suitable for commercial-scale operations across Maharashtra.
